Leather Sofa Care
- Prevent fading by placing the sofa away from direct sunlight
- Reduce humidity with a dehumidifier to prevent the leather from cracking and peeling
- Clean away any dirt or dust on the sofa's surface with a soft cloth or a vacuum with a soft brush attachment
- Avoid using cleaning products that contain harsh chemicals, alcohol and solvents
- Apply leather conditioner or natural leather cream regularly to condition and protect your sofa
Address spills and stains immediately:
- If an accidental spill occurs, dab on the area immediately with a clean and dry absorbent cloth or paper towel
- Remove stains by mixing a small amount of dish soap with cool water to create a mild cleaning solution
- Dampen a microfiber cloth in the solution and gently blot away the stain. Avoid using excessive force like rubbing or blotting hard as it can cause the stain to set in further
- Use a fresh cloth (dampened with plain water) to dab away the soap mixture
