100 Nights Trial Mattress Return and Refund Policy

We want you to have full confidence when purchasing a mattress from us. That is why we offer a 100-Night Mattress Trial (the “Trial”) for selected mattresses purchased directly from BEDANDBASICS.SG.

If within the first 100 nights of receiving your new mattress you are not completely satisfied for any reason, you may request a return for a refund, subject to the conditions below.

1. Eligibility

• The Trial applies only to selected mattresses sold on BEDANDBASICS.SG and delivered within Singapore.
• Trial requests must be made within 100 days from the delivery date.
• To be eligible, you must have slept on the mattress for at least 30 nights. It takes around 4 weeks for your body to adjust to a new mattress. We require you to try the mattress for at least 30 nights before making a return request.
• Only one mattress return per household is permitted under the Trial. If your order contains more than one mattress, only one mattress can be returned.
• If at least one mattress is returned from an initial order, that customer and shipping address will not be eligible for any further 100-night trials on subsequent mattress purchases.
• Mattresses sold as bundles with bed frames are not eligible for the Trial.

2. Return Conditions

• The returned mattress must be in good condition, free of stains, tears, or damage.
• The mattress must be wrapped securely in its original plastic packaging, or any suitable protective plastic to prevent soiling or damage during transport. If the mattress is not properly wrapped and this condition is not met, a cleaning or repair fee of SGD 100 will be deducted from your refund. If you require us to rewrap the mattress in protective plastic, a service fee of SGD 30 will be charged.
• Proof of purchase such as order number or invoice must be provided.
• The pickup address must be the same as the delivery address.
• If the product is found to be damaged or soiled beyond acceptable condition, the return will be rejected.

3. Process

1. Submit your return request by contacting our customer service team at hello@bedandbasics.sg. Please include your order number, proof of purchase, and reason for return.
2. We will arrange for a pickup of the mattress. Pickup charges may apply for remote locations, staircase deliveries, or special surcharges incurred at the time of delivery.
3. Once the mattress is collected and inspected to our satisfaction, your eligible refund will be processed.

4. Refund

• Refunds will be made to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
• If payment was made using a credit card or debit card, a processing fee of 4 percent of the order value plus SGD 1 will be deducted from the refund amount.
• The refund will exclude delivery, assembly, timing or location surcharges, staircase delivery fees, and any other surcharges paid at the time of delivery.
• The refund will exclude the price of bundled items such as pillows, bedding, or other add-ons.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 working days after the mattress has been received and inspected.

5. Additional Terms

• Returned mattresses may be donated to charity or responsibly disposed of.
• Customers must be available at the scheduled pickup date and time. If you are not reachable or do not respond to our return arrangements within the 100-day trial period, your eligibility will lapse.
• The Trial cannot be used as an exchange for another size or product. You are not eligible for a return if you ordered the wrong size or wish to change sizes.

6. Important Notes

• BEDANDBASICS does not take title to returned items until they are received at our warehouse.
• The Trial is designed for first-time purchases to allow you to experience the comfort of our mattresses. Abuse of this policy may result in refusal of future returns.

We reserve the right to collect your returns according to our delivery schedule. Returns are free for local orders only, and are not applicable to products exported out of Singapore mainland.

Proof of Purchase

Upon successful placement of order, an invoice/sales order will be sent to your email address provided at the time of order. Please be advised to save the invoice/sales order as proof of purchase.

Your endorsement on the proof of delivery document will constitute your acknowledgement that your items have been received in good condition.
