Delivery Policy
How do I qualify for complimentary delivery?
Orders with a net value of $300 or more qualify for complimentary Standard Delivery on eligible items across all product categories.
To qualify, the delivery location must be accessible by lift and situated on the same floor as the lift landing, or on the same floor as the designated loading and unloading area. Additional charges may apply if staircase delivery is required.
What delivery options are available?
BEDANDBASICS offers two delivery options: Standard Delivery and Premium Delivery.

You may indicate your preferred delivery date during checkout. Once all items in your order are ready for delivery, our logistics partner will contact you to confirm the delivery arrangements. Premium Delivery is recommended for customers who require greater flexibility in selecting their preferred delivery date. |
How are delivery dates arranged?
Orders placed after 4:00 PM will be processed on the next working day. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not considered working days.
Standard Delivery
Our logistics partner will contact you via WhatsApp to propose a delivery date once your order is ready. No acknowledgement is required if you are available on the proposed date.
If the proposed delivery date is unsuitable, please contact us within 1 working day to request a rescheduled delivery.
Customers may decline up to three proposed Standard Delivery dates. Thereafter, an upgrade to Premium Delivery will be required before a new delivery date can be arranged.
Premium Delivery
Customers selecting Premium Delivery may indicate their preferred delivery date during checkout. Our logistics partner will subsequently contact you to confirm the delivery arrangements.
Preferred delivery dates are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. If your selected date cannot be accommodated, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery date and time slot.
Requests to reschedule Premium Delivery must be submitted at least 5 working days before the scheduled delivery date.
After-Hours Delivery
Requests for delivery after 6:00 PM are subject to availability and approval by BEDANDBASICS. An after-hours delivery charge of $60 will apply if the request is accepted.
Failed Delivery and Same-Day Rescheduling
A redelivery or rescheduling fee of $60 will apply if:
- A Standard Delivery is rescheduled on the scheduled delivery date.
- Delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address.
- The necessary building access, management approval or delivery permissions have not been obtained in advance.
- The delivery location is subject to restrictions that prevent our delivery team from completing the delivery.
- No authorised person is available to receive the order at the scheduled delivery time.
Do you provide furniture disposal services?
Furniture disposal services are available at an additional charge. For the applicable fees and arrangements, please refer to our furniture disposal information page .
Additional staircase charges will apply if the removal or disposal of furniture requires the use of stairs.
You may also wish to contact your Town Council or Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST), as furniture disposal services may be available at a lower cost or without charge.
When do staircase delivery charges apply?
Staircase delivery charges apply when furniture cannot be transported to the delivery location using a lift. This may occur if the furniture does not fit inside the lift, the lift is unavailable or building management does not permit lift access.
Our delivery team will assess whether the furniture can be carried using the staircase safely. Staircase delivery is subject to the delivery team’s assessment and may be declined if the conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
The following staircase charges apply:
- General furniture and other items: $10 per item, per floor.
- Wardrobes: $20 per wardrobe, per floor.
These charges also apply to furniture disposal requiring the use of stairs.
The following example illustrates the staircase charges for delivering two items, such as a pillow and a mattress, to a building without lift access:

Can I reserve my order until I am ready to receive it?
BEDANDBASICS provides a complimentary holding period of up to 60 days from the date of your order.
If you require your order to be held beyond the complimentary 60-day period, full payment must be made in advance. Payments made for orders held beyond this period are non-refundable.
A holding fee of $29.90 per item will apply for each additional month, or part thereof, beyond the initial 60-day holding period.

An additional surcharge of $19.90 applies to each delivery made to the locations listed below. This surcharge is payable in addition to any applicable Standard or Premium Delivery charges.
