Is the delivery date I picked guaranteed?

The delivery date that you picked only represents your preferred delivery date. Due to the size and the nature of furniture orders, delays may occur especially for items under pre-orders. We seek your understanding that there are things beyond the control of (i.e. Manufacturing, shipping and customs approval delays).  If there is a delay, will contact you to reschedule.

How can I be confident with my purchase if I don’t get to experience the actual products before buying them?

We believe in quality. We ensure that we achieve high quality standards on every product we sell.

Our quality control process involves inspecting the products and testing them for defects and other product-related quality matters. We identify and correct the defects before we release them to our customers.

This isn’t simply about the final inspection. It’s about adoption the right manufacturing procedures and controls throughout the process. We select only the best manufacturers that adhere to best industry practices right from the raw material selection to processing and through to finishing.

Through our quality assurance process, you will have a peace-of-mind and a positive shopping experience with us.

Can I reject the product upon delivery if I am not satisfied with it?

You are protected by our “Right to Reject” policy for all qualifying products you purchase at Bed and Basics. When the products are delivered to you, you are entitled to reject any products during delivery that are not up to your expectations without incurring charges. If you decide to return your products after the delivery team has left, it will be processed under our return and refund policy.

Do you sell used, refurbished or reconditioned furniture?

No, we do not. All our products are brand-new from the manufacturer in their original packaging.

What happens if I find the same product elsewhere at a lower price?

Can I self-collect the furniture myself?

The products you ordered may not be available immediately for collection. Our customer service will call you and make arrangements with you when the product is available for self-collection.

Will I get better prices if I make a bulk purchase?

I need the delivery urgently by today (Or tomorrow). Can it be done?

We review each urgent delivery request individually. Please let us know what items you require delivered and we will get back to you if it is possible. Additional fees ranging between SGD19.90-50 will be applicable.

What happens if the furniture doesn’t fit well at my place after I have purchased it?

Our customer service officers will be happy to assist you with the product dimensions and details for you to make the best possible informed decision. Alternatively, you can also refer to the dimensions on every product description before making the purchase.

Why wasn't the shipping discount applied?

As long as your order is above SGD150, a $19.90 shipping discount will definitely be automatically applied. Check your order and under the line containing the word “Discount”, please verify if your total discount you received is accurate. If any other discounts were applied, it will be totaled up together with your shipping discount.

However, we recommend that you first contact your Town Council for their free bulky disposal service. For private properties, please contact your building or estate management for assistance.

Many Town Councils provide free disposal of the first (3) moveable bulky items per month, with the exception of certain classfication of items. A fee may be chargeable by the Town Council for removal of additional items. We recommend that you make this request with your respective Town Council at least 1 week in advance.
