Do you have a showroom?

We do not have a showroom. This is so that we can cut out retail overheads (such as salesmen commission, showroom rental etc) and pass on the savings to you!

Is the delivery date I picked guaranteed?

We will try our best to fulfill your preferred delivery date.

We seek your understanding that delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as manufacturing, shipping or customs delays.

Pre-order items may have a higher risk of delays.

In the event of a delay, we will contact you to reschedule.

How can I be confident of my purchases if I don't see the products in person?

Quality is at the core of our business.

We subject our products to a quality control process, inspecting and testing them rigoriously for defects.

Defects are identified and fixed before shipping.

Only manufacturers that adhere to best industry practices are selected.

Can I reject the product upon delivery if I am not satisfied?

You are protected by our “Right to Reject” policy for all qualifying products you purchase at BedandBasics.

You are entitled to reject any qualifying products during delivery that are not up to your expectations without incurring charges.

However, should you decide to return your products after the delivery team has left, your returns will be subject to our returns and refund policy. Please refer to our returns and refund policy for more details.

Do you sell used, refurbished or reconditioned furniture?

No. All our products are brand new from the manufacturer in their original packaging.

What happens if I find the same product elsewhere at a lower price?

Can I self-collect my purchases?

The products you ordered may not be available for self-collection.

Will I get better prices if I make a bulk purchase?

For bulk purchases of more than 8 similar items, please contact us at sales@bedandbasics.sg for a special quotation.

I need the delivery urgently by today. Can it be done?

We review each urgent delivery request individually. Please let us know what items you require delivered and we will get back to you if it is possible.

Additional fees between SGD19.90-50 will be applicable.

What payment options do you accept?

  1. 1. Credit/ Debit Card via Paypal(No Paypal account required)
  2. 2. PayNow - Order is only confirmed after PayNow screenshot is provided to us. Delivery lead time starts from the order confirmation date.
  3. 3. Bank Transfer Payment - Order is only confirmed after bank transfer slip is provided to us. Delivery lead time starts from the order confirmation date.

For custom made orders for the below categories, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required before we confirm the order. We will not accept order cancellations or exchanges for custom made orders. For example,

What happens if the furniture does not fit well at my place after I have purchased it?

Our customer service officers will be happy to assist you with the product dimensions and details for you to make the best possible informed decision.

Alternatively, you may also refer to the dimensions on the product page before making the purchase.

Why wasn't the shipping discount applied?

A $19.90 shipping discount is applied automatically for all orders above SGD 150.

This can be verified in your order. Scroll to the line with the phrase “Discount”, and check if the total discount is accurate.

If any other discounts were applied, it will be totaled up together with your shipping discount.

Can you dispose of my old furniture when my new furniture arrives?

Many Town Councils also provide free disposal of the first (3) moveable bulky items per month, with the exception of certain items.

A fee may be chargeable by the Town Council for the removal of additional items.

We recommend that you contact your Town Council for their free bulky disposal service at least 1 week in advance.
