Delivery Details
Due to high volume of deliveries, we advise all customers to accept the delivery schedule. If you reject or fail to accept the delivery, another schedule will be proposed to you within 3 working days. You may reject the delivery schedule up to a maximum of three times. Thereafter, we will require you to upgrade to premium delivery if you have opted for standard delivery previously.
The delivery team will contact you before heading down to your location.
When the delivery is made you will be required to examine the product(s), check the condition of the packaging, ensure that the correct number of packages has been delivered and ensure that the product(s) delivered to you is free of defects. If you find that the goods are damaged/defective at the time of delivery, you are required to complete an incident form immediately which will be provided to you by the home delivery team. If the damage/defect is reported to us more than 72 hours upon receipt of the goods, please contact us for details on our return/collection address and bring it back to us for servicing/repair. Prevailing transportation and manpower fees will apply if you require our assistance for return/collection/inspection services which will be waived if you report the damage/defect under 72 hours upon receipt of the goods.
Bedandbasics liability for any damage to property shall be limited to the value of the item or SGD80, whichever is lower. If you require additional insurance coverage, please arrange for this before delivery. If you are concerned about possible damage to the property (e.g. flooring etc.) during/after the delivery, please make sure you cover the property with protective sheets/ floor protectors or move objects which could be damaged during the delivery, such as lights, vases, pictures et cetera. If you have any valuables, please store them in a safe place.
Fees are applicable for additional services (Including but not limited to):
- Furniture Disposal/ Disassembly
- Staircase charges, including stairs within landed properties and HDB masionettes.
- Upgrading to premium delivery
- No designated parking spots nearby (>100m) for a standard sized 14 footer truck. Fees will be advised on the spot.
- Failed deliveries not due to any fault from BedandBasics, e.g. denied access to your location, non-receipt of goods at time of delivery.

Right to Reject at your Doorstep/ Receiving the Items
You are protected by our “Right to Reject” policy for all qualifying products you purchase at Bed and Basics. When the products are delivered to you, you are entitled to reject any qualifying products during delivery that are not up to your expectations without incurring charges. If you decide to return your products after the delivery team has left, it will be processed under our returns and refunds policy.
Step 1. When the delivery is made you will be required to examine the product(s), check the condition of the packaging, ensure that the correct number of packages has been delivered and ensure that the product(s) delivered to you is free of defects.
Step 2. You will be presented a proof of delivery form (POD) to sign and acknowledge. If there are any issues, you should detail them accordingly in the POD. If there are subsequent disputes raised regarding the condition/ quantity of the products(s) received upon delivery or other issues, we will refer to the POD.
Step 3. If you require courier assistance with unpacking the product(s) for inspection and/or assistance with disposal of packaging, please request for it. We strongly advise customers to be around while the product is being assembled, not just after it’s placed in its final position. This helps ensure all areas, including less visible ones like the back or underside, can be checked properly.
If you choose to waive your option to inspect your product(s) upon delivery, Bedandbasics.sg will not be liable for any alleged damages or defects discovered after our courier leaves your premise.
If you opt for contactless delivery, Bedandbasics.sg will not be liable for any alleged lost or destruction of property, damages or defects discovered after our courier leaves your premise. We will take a photo of the item(s) as proof of completed delivery. We strongly advise customers to be present for inspection upon receiving goods.
Request for returns of goods without original packaging will be rejected, subject to BedandBasics.sg terms and conditions.
