Pita is a fabric bed frame with a plush, button-tufted two-panel headboard and warm built-in LED lights along its curved edges, switched on with a touch. Upholstered in a water, stain and scratch resistant pet-friendly fabric. Keep it as a standard bed, or upgrade to a manual or electric storage bed. Single, Super Single, Queen and King.

The 16, 14 and 11 inch heights already include the 2-inch top board, measured from the floor. To get your bed height, just add your mattress thickness. The headboard height adjusts to the base you pick, and suits mattresses up to 12 inch thick. Thicker mattress? Let us know and we can customise the bed to fit it. The 214cm length includes the 22cm-deep headboard, which is a little wider than the base. As a standard bed, the headboard is 107cm high and the base is 25cm high: add your mattress thickness to get your bed height.

Is the mattress included?

No, it’s sold separately. Pick the mattress size that matches your bed size in the table above.

How do the LED lights work?

They’re built into both sides of the headboard. Touch the control to switch them on or off, for reading or a soft night light.

Is the fabric really pet-friendly?

It’s a durable polyester fabric that resists water, stains and scratches, SGS tested and rated to 60,000 rubs, so it stands up well to everyday wear, paws included.

Can I turn it into a storage bed?

Yes. Choose a manual or electric storage base in “Upgrade to Storage Bed (Optional)”, in 16, 14 or 11 inch heights. The headboard height adjusts to the base you pick.

What’s the difference between manual and electric?

The manual base opens with German hydraulic lifts: lift it by hand, and a safety lock holds it open. The electric base opens and closes with a remote, for mattresses up to 80kg.

Is the top of the base covered?

Yes. On the standard bed, the bed board is wrapped in the same fabric on the top and sides. This doesn’t apply to the storage bed options.

Which type of mattress can I use?

Any type. The flat base supports foam, latex and spring mattresses evenly.

How much weight can it hold?

Up to 120kg for Single and Super Single, and up to 240kg for Queen and King.

What is it made of?

A solid wood, engineered wood and MDF frame with thick foam padding, upholstered in pet-friendly fabric, on short legs.
