Koel is a storage bed built on a solid plywood frame, with a padded headboard with a softly curved top and fine vertical stitching and a lift-up base on German-designed hydraulic lifts. In scratch-resistant fabric or PU leather, from Single to King.

Both heights already include the 5.1cm (2-inch) top board, measured from the floor. To get your bed height, just add your mattress thickness. The headboard height follows the base you pick, and suits mattresses up to 12 inches (30.5cm) thick. We recommend option A for the most storage. Choose your height in “Storage Bed Height” above.

Is the mattress included?
No, it’s sold separately. Pick the mattress size that matches your bed size in the table above.
Which storage height should I choose?
Option A (16 inch) gives the most storage, 35.5cm deep inside. Option B (14 inch) sits a little lower, with 30.5cm of storage. Add your mattress thickness to the base height to get your bed height.
How does the storage open?
Lift the base by hand. Two German-designed hydraulic lifts on every size raise it smoothly, and a safety lock holds it open while you reach in.
How thick can my mattress be?
