The Hopen Bookmatched Black Walnut Table - 1600mm is melded together from two well matched slabs cut from the same tree. Reserved for higher end furniture, bookmatching requires a keen eye, patience and great technique. We chose wood slabs from the North American Black Walnut tree, renowned for its beauty and durability.
Each piece is painstakingly shaped and sanded to a smooth and natural finish, with great care taken to preserve its unique grain patterns. Multiple layers of sealer and finishing coats are finally applied to protect its natural beauty. Be astounded by the incredible wood grain detail created by nature.
