I really appreciate the quick replies and service from the bedandbasics team, although the delivery kept delaying and it took almost 4 months to reach me, they always kept me updated with the shipping status, I wasn't very happy at first but I have to say that it was their consistent service which made me a happy customer, Asmine helped a lot in explaining everything about the bed because it was from Japan and it is very different in terms of size and even the voltage of the bed light, she was also very patient with all my queries and arranged for quick delivery the moment the bed arrived, installation was really good and quick as well. The bed installation was swift and smooth. We picked the drawer Bed option and it has a lot of storage space as the empty space beside the drawer (below the wooden slates) can be used for storage too. The headboard has storage compartment too and shelves. We were advised that the lighting and power point cannot be used without a step-down as the pins are designed for Japan Usage. Well designed, with the user in mind. However, the delivery service was slow and the finishing was certainly not perfect. It would have looked more classy if the finishing was smoother. There was a bump in the formica at the corner of the bed. Decided not to request for a change as I already waited four weeks for this bed. Otherwise, this bed is of good size as it is bigger than a single but smaller than a local size super single. The night lights are a cool feature and the ledge on the headboard allows you to place small items on it. Likewise for the storage area on the headboard... but what is really amazing is the Nuloft Japanese mattress that was purchased with the bedframe.
